The Resilience Project

Role: Artist and Designer
Organization: Personal
Exhibition: SJMade and Oakland Arts Festival

Gingkos have been though every climatic event in the past 270 million years - from dinosaurs to ice ages, to industrialization and nuclear warfare. Other fauna faded, preetier fauna proliferated.

I am a firm believer in the powerful intersection of design and social impact. I've decided to create a series of ongoing projects, with a focus on resilience for women, that support causes I'm passionate about.

Nevertheless, the gingko persisted.
Nevertheless, she persisted.

The gingko pin has been worn by a cohort of female professors in Harvard. It's been used by thirty women at a wedding, for good luck to interviews, on labcoats, and saris.
